Eyes are one of the most important organs in the human body and vision is one of the most wonderful gift of God. Sparkling, beautiful eyes are the best assets a woman can have. Eye drops are a great way to add a sparkle to your eyes, pick a good product especially prepared for tired eyes and keep it in the fridge. Eat enough of Vitamin A and C. Take special care in the choice of eye make-up. Sometimes you just need a little lift to make your eyes look refreshed and alert. Here are some beauty tips for taking care of your eyes.
- Grate or crush a cucumber and take out the juice from the pulp. Add a few drops of rose water to this juice and use this to get rid of dark circles. Apply it around the eyes and wash it after 30 minutes.
- Do not spend too much time in front of a computer screen as this can cause eye strain and squinting.
- To get rid of the dark circles under the eye, mix five drops each of almond and coconut oils and massage the eye area with this mixture. Grate half cucumber and apply as an eye pad. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash off.
- To treat dark circles around the eyes, you can also massage a little coconut oil around the eyes.
- Dip a cotton pad in a cup of water overnight. Strain this in the morning and add 1 cup of plain water to this. Splash the eyes with this water or wash them with the help of an eye cup.
- Another treatment to treat dark eyes is to gently dab cotton soaked in warm tea without milk around eyes.
- Take 1 teaspoon of Tomato pulp,1 pinch of Turmeric powder, half teaspoon of lime juice and 1 teaspoon of gram flour. Make a paste of the above ingredients and apply gently on the eye lids and the darkened areas and let it remain for half an hour. Remove gently with moist cotton pads after half an hour. Repeat this for a week
- Keep a cotton wad, dipped in chilled cucumber and potato juice, on your eyes for 15 minutes to ward off tiredness and puffiness. To strengthen and elongate the eyelashes, apply castor oil every night.
- Use a light moisturizer on your face every morning and every night without fail.
