Floral print look – Spring Summer 2010 Trend
Wed. 24 Feb 2010 14:45 PST
After the crazy winter sales there’s a time to make your spring 2010 shopping list.
Number one on the list is a fashion synonym of over-the-top romanticism and it is a floral print (dress, halter, sheath, tunic, top, jacket, pants, shorts etc.)!
Flowered patterns have dominated most spring summer 2010 runways, in paricular the ones that took place in Milan Fashion Week. Colorful floral print dresses were especially featured in Alberta Ferretti (fabulous collection btw), Dolce & Gabbana and Marni’s collections. Looks like again, designers are going back to basics and they show their understanding to the women wanting to accentuate their feminity. Or like Fergie would sing in “My Humps”: “my sexy lady looks”! These flirty and playful dresses are a manifesto of feminity and they forecast a hot joyful summer.
Floral look ideas for Spring Summer 2010 season include bright and juicy floral prints and floral embellishments on the clothes. As I remember, a floral print dress was also a spring summer 2009 must-have and it’s just not a surprise. Floral print is the universal pattern for every spring and every summer and its popularity simply depends on designers who dictate trends. If you turn around on a beach or on the pier you will always see someone wearing “the naive print of a floral dress” – so read the press notes at Ralph Lauren’s SS10 collection.

Makeup Tips For Bride

Before The Wedding Day

Undertake a skin, hair and  nail car...
It's not just essential to look absolutely perfect on your wedding night. It’s also important that the perfection stays through, and never lets you down. And thinking fast, these are the things that you should take care of Colors:
Do go in for a prior consultation with your beautician at least a week before the wedding. Take along your wedding outfit and samples of the jewelry you would be wearing.
Another good idea is to take along reference of looks from magazines and ads of the kind you like, so that the beautician is not working blind towards creating your look.
The basic point to remember is to coordinate colors. If your outfit is a blazing pink, you cannot dare to wear red lipstick and nail polish. Do get a beautician and hairstylist on whom you have confidence. No point in settling for a budget beautician when the look of an entire lifetime is at stake.

Lips:
Your lips are an important part of the look, as important as the eyes. Line your lips with a lip-liner – a shade darker than the lipstick you’ve chosen and then fill in the lipstick with a brush. Blot it gently with a tissue and powder with pressed powder and repeat the liner and lipstick routine. This will help your lipsticks last longer.

Teeth:
It's amazing what a transformation a good dental job can achieve for your face. It would be wise to get an appointment with your dentist a few months before the wedding. Don’t wait for the last minute. You don’t want to appear for your wedding with a swollen face and cotton between your pearly whites, do you ?
These, as they say are the pennies. Take care, and the pounds – creating the right impressions that is – will take care of themselves.

Mehndi:
Decorating the palms and feet of the bride with exotic designs mehendi is a ritual in Pakistani weddings. The designs draw their inspiration from various schools of folk and tribal art.
In one sense, it’s also a more urban form of the art of tattoo. Only that the herbs used in mehendi not only adds to the beauty of the skin, but also nourishes it as it permeatel the pores of the skin.
Now, professionals mostly do it at home as well in the parlour. Ladies who take up contracts for service at home charge between Rs. 500 to Rs. 2500 depending on the number of people they are attending.
For more intricate designs, for both the hands and the feet, the charges can go up to as high as Rs. 1000. And even for that, one might have to go all the way up to the parlour.

Marraiage Essentials:
These are the ten things that should be with you when you take the center stage on your wedding day:
